It has been long awaiting.

My favorite band, The Cranberries, finally held a concert here in Singapore. I was supposed to attend their concert way back in 1997. Bought the tickets but who knows, Dolores O'Riordan broke her ankles in a skiing accident and the concert had to cancelled. Cancelled hey, not postponed!

So, I waited for 01/08/11 with much anticipation. Lucky I had 'kaki-s' to go to the concert with. Hubby isn't a fan. Tickets were bought on the dot at 0900 hrs on first sale day.

Concert started at 2030 hrs sharp. When the band came out from backstage, the whole stadium went crazy and shouted like mad. It was intense. Well, security was! We, in the most front row, weren't allow any videography or photography. So, when the band started performing their first few songs, I didn't record any. In fact, I missed recording my favorite track 'Dreaming my dreams'. But hell yeah, when they played Linger, the fans went mad and all the cameras came whipping out. I recorded 13 out of 18 (or so) performed songs. *proud*

Last song - Dreams, Dolores went down the stage to shake hands with her fans. I was so close but yet I didn't get a touch of her. By the time she's done with fans on her right, Security yes damn you Security, got her back on stage. :(

It was an amazing concert it is! She still rocks. She still has the groovy dance move. She still sports the short hair, albeit neither spiky nor platinum blonde, she still looks great with jet black!

Oh my, I love The Cranberries and I can't get over the concert. Not yet.
